
Welder/Fabricator Trainer
The Brief
Due to business requirements, our client sought to strengthen their apprenticeship team by appointing a Welder/Fabricator Trainer. The ideal candidate needed to positively impact the current cohort of apprentices in order to support their development, as well as work together with the wider training team to ensure the long-term success of all future apprentices.

Our Approach
Recognising that this role had been previously advertised without success, we decided to take a proactive headhunting approach. This strategy enabled us to connect with candidates who had not yet been exposed to the opportunity. Through extensive outreach efforts, we engaged with a broad pool of potential candidates in the region.
During this process, one candidate we contacted was not personally interested but recommended someone within their network who might be a perfect fit. Following further engagement and assessment, this referral proved to be an outstanding match for the role.
